GROWING UP GIRL
These environmental portraits
are poetic metaphors captured in everyday moments. I examine universal
themes of childhood and adolescence that define who we become.
I explore the confusing emotions and developing
identities of girls as they come of age and examine what it feels like to grow
up as girl through metaphor and subtleties.
We discover timeless,
ageless emotions that connect us all; ambiguity, fear, embrace, confidence,
awkwardness, childhood freedoms, vulnerability, innocence, and coming into your
own...
